31 DECEMBER - I'M GRATEFUL


THAT 2010 HAS BEEN A VERY GOOD YEAR - IN PART DUE TO THIS GRATITUDE EXERCISE I HAVE UNDERTAKEN.

365 DAYS OF MINDFULNESS HAS FORCED ME TO LOOK TO THE POSITIVES EVERYDAY.  SOME PEOPLE UNDERTAKE 20 PUSH-UPS A DAY TO STRENGTHEN THEIR CHEST, MY DAILY GRATITUDE REFLECTIONS HAVE CREATED NEW PATHWAYS IN MY BRAIN AND THEN REINFORCED THESE NEW BEHAVIOURS. 

THAT SILLY "THE SECRET" BOOK THAT SOLD MILLIONS A FEW YEARS AGO (WHICH I THINK IS A LOAD OF CRAP) IS REALLY BASED ON MINDFULNESS.  IF WE LOOK TO THE POSITIVES,  WE PLACE OURSELVES IN JUST THE RIGHT PLACE FOR MORE POSITIVES TO OCCUR.

THANK YOU FOR FOLLOWING THIS BLOG. IT'S BEEN A HARD SLOG AND I'VE FELT LIKE THROWING IN THE TOWEL A FEW TIMES BUT I'VE PERSERVERED AND NOW HAVE 365 GRATITUDES TO LOOK BACK ON AND NEW EYES TO GO WITH THEM.

  2. Well, I am grateful for this blog throughout 2010 as I got to find out what my zany daughter has been up to. I have mostly agreed with her posts but I will continue to correct her spelling & grammar. Love you always, Nat.
