11 MARCH - I'M GRATEFUL


THAT A BRISBANE CITY COUNCIL WORKER HAS FOUND THE TIME TO PRACTICE ZEN GARDENING. 
"The act of raking the gravel into a pattern recalling waves or rippling water has an aesthetic function. Zen priests practice this raking also to help them focus their concentration."

SO LOVELY TO BE IN A PARK CALLED "THE OCTOPUS' GARDEN" AND FIND SUCH CARE AND ATTENTION TO DETAIL.  I WINCED AS I SAW TODDLERS FAST APPROACHING (WEARING THE UBIQUITOUS "CROCS" UGH)
