3 FEBRUARY - I'M GRATEFUL FOR

THE OGORI CAFE IN KASHIWA, JAPAN
AN EXERCISE IN GENEROSITY, GRATITUDE, KINDNESS, SERENDIPITY, SURPRISE AND MOST IMPORTANTLY SOCIAL INTERACTION; YOU RECEIVE THE ORDER OF THE PERSON BEFORE YOU AND YOU ORDER AND PAY FOR THE NEXT CUSTOMER!

MY FRIEND MICHAEL DONEMAN TALKS OF THE IMPORTANCE OF GENEROSITY IN BUSINESS AND LIFE IN GENERAL AND HOW IT IS SEEN THROUGH BUDDHIST PRACTICE.

"Gratitude and generosity go together because when the heart is truly grateful, the natural expression of this in the world is generosity, so feeling authentically grateful is the clearest way to practice the first 'perfection'. In another way of putting it, by acting generously you give the other person an opportunity to practice gratitude, which in turn inspires him or her to practice generosity, and so it goes round ... and eventually comes back around to you."

(your order comes with a card telling you a little about the person who ordered it for you)
YOU CAN READ ABOUT THIS CAFE IN THE LINK BELOW
(IT REMINDS ME OF STORIES I HEARD ABOUT PEOPLE PAYING FOR THE CAR BEHIND THEM WHEN THE GATEWAY BRIDGE HAD TOLL BOOTHS!)
